The Social Justice Committee has renewed St. Jude’s partnership with East End Cooperative Ministry’s evening meal service. As a parish, we have committed to serving the 70 clients of the shelter a delicious spaghetti and meatball dinner on the third Tuesday of each month but we can't do it without our parishioners support!
You can help by volunteering to work one of the shelter meals or by donating one or more of the food items needed for the meal. You can also make a donation to support the purchase of food items needed to prepare the meal(s) each month. The cost for preparing one dinner is approximately $400. That equates to $4800 a year to help our neighbors in need just once a month. Of course, we hope that we will be able to grow this volunteer effort and perhaps support more than one meal a month.
Please use the form below to indicate your interest in helping to serve our monthly EECM meal. A member of the Social Justice Committee will be in touch soon.
If you would like to make a monetary donation, please complete the "Donation Amount" and payment by credit card. Thank you in advance for your support!
