We are looking forward to celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation with you and your child at Saint Jude Parish.  Please read the information below to learn more about the process as well as required paperwork that must be completed prior to being confirmed. With your help, in collaboration with the catechists and teachers, your child will be more than prepared for this Sacrament in the months ahead!

A mandatory informational meeting will be held in the Spring of your catechists 7th grade year.  You will receive specific information about the date/time/location for this meeting from Mike Steich closer to the date.  Important details about confirmation will be presented at the meeting. 

Requirements

The deadline to complete and return all requirements is September 1st. 

Confirmation: Information Form - Once you have selected your Confirmation Saint name and your Sponsor, please complete and submit the Confirmation Information Form by clicking on the button below.

In addition, below please find links to all of the documents that needs to be completed over the coming months.  Once completed, please return all items together in one envelope to Mike Steich in the parish office.  For SHES students, they may also be turned into your 8th grade homeroom teacher. 
  

• Confirmation: General Overview - Provides a general overview of the requirements for confirmation.
• Confirmation Name: Saint Reflection - A reflection paper on the name of the Saint you have chosen for your Confirmation name.
• Confirmation: Pastor Letter Sample - A sample of the letter that you will send to the pastor requesting to be confirmed in our parish.  
• Confirmation: Sponsor Information - Provides detailed information about the requirements to serve as a Confirmation sponsor.  
• Confirmation: Service as Faith in Action - Provides ideas to perform as well as a form to record the required service hours.
